Aliss and her four siblings grew up at Finca Hartmann, playing among the coffee trees and climbing on bags of stored parchment at the mill. As adults, the Hartmann children each took on roles at Finca Hartmann, with Aliss managing the administrative side of the business. <div class="OutlineElement Ltr SCXW72418422 BCX8"> As her own children, Giuliana and Giuseppe, grew up, she wanted them to experience a childhood similar to hers. She purchased Finca Momoto to teach them the value of the land, instill respect for nature, and share with them the same love and passion for coffee that her parents had shared with her. </div> <div class="OutlineElement Ltr SCXW72418422 BCX8"> Aliss applies an environmentally sustainable approach to coffee production. Most of the coffee from Finca Momoto is processed using the natural method, significantly reducing water usage. While Finca Momoto may be known for Geisha, Aliss also grows several other varieties on the farm, including Typica, Caturra, and Maragogype. This lot is a blend of Caturra and Typica varieties. </div>
