Long Miles was Jordan’s first love, having spent over a year in Burundi, he’s an aficionado of all things Burundi coffee. Hills is a group of multiple farms and multiple washing stations across the Kayanza and Muramvya provinces. Comprising of day lots from over 5,700 farmers, Hills Natural, and its washed counterpart is truly the heart of Long Miles Coffee. The green bean is monitored carefully and graded, anything scoring 84-86 will end up in Hills, 86+ goes into microlots, such as Gitwe. Because of the variety in crop, it lends to really interesting tasting notes of gingery baseline, with floral notes coming through at the top end. We swear in one sip we got pure rose water. Chances are you may have two coffees in a row and you’ll end up with subtle differences. This coffee was produced by Long Miles Coffee and imported by Osito.

DEEP DIVE +

PRODUCER : HEZA WASHING STATION

CROP YEAR :

COUNTRY : BURUNDI

REGION : KAYANZA & MURAMVYA

ELEVATION : 1700-2100 MASL

VARIETAL : Bourbon

PROCESSING : NATURAL

IMPORTER/PARTNER : Long Miles

GEO TAG DOWNLOAD PDF

ESPRESSO RECIPE +

ESPRESSO MACHINE
This is just a starting place.
