Finca Tamana itself has had quite the history, with Don Elias purchasing the farm over 10 years ago and in that time, with help from Tim Wendelboe, has turned this farm from lower than commodity grade coffee into its consistent top-shelf quality it is now. With state of the art processing and hand picked, shade grown cherries, only the best comes from Finca Tamana. After being hand picked, this coffee is depulped and the parchment is fermented overnight in stainless steel tanks, then washed clean in eco-mills to save drinking water, removing leftover mucilage. The coffee is then floated in large tanks removing low density beans and foreign objects, finally being shade dried in parabolic dryers for up to a month. This coffee will hit you with notes of earl grey on the aroma and taste, followed by raspberry compote and a sweet fairy floss finish. One of a pair, we’ve got Pink bourbon processed two ways, so make sure you slurp the natty next! We imported this coffee and all other Finca Tamana’s, along with Diamante’s in direct partnership, with help from InterAmerican.

DEEP DIVE +

PRODUCER : Don Elias Roa and Doña Bellani Sanchez from Finca Tamana

CROP YEAR : 2022

COUNTRY : COLOMBIA

REGION : Huila

ELEVATION : 1950 MASL

VARIETAL : Pink Bourbon

PROCESSING : WASHED

IMPORTER/PARTNER : Ourselves, with some help from Racafe and InterAmerican

GEO TAG DOWNLOAD PDF

ESPRESSO RECIPE +

ESPRESSO MACHINE
This is just a starting place.
