When they tried to sell the property, the offers were far too low, so they decided to turn the inherited land into a coffee farm. After years of hard work it was finally ready to produce incredible coffee. Fast forward a few years and they no longer wish to sell the farm because they enjoy producing incredible coffee. Luis has now been managing the family farm for 10 years, but 3 years ago he took the plunge into the world of specialty coffee, with the goal of obtaining higher prices and greater recognition for their excellent coffee. This coffee is an unidentified varietal that was discovered growing on the farm, Luis has named it after his grandmother, Maria Luisa. Negroni is a high quality naturally processed coffee with a big boozy flavour similar to Campari so we decided Negroni was an appropriate name. This coffee was imported by the legends at Caravela. Enjoy this extremely limited release while it lasts.

DEEP DIVE +

PRODUCER : Luis Fernando Rendon Sampieri

CROP YEAR : 2020

COUNTRY : Mexico

REGION : Poxtla

ELEVATION : 1400 MASL

VARIETAL : Maria Luisa

PROCESSING : NATURAL

IMPORTER/PARTNER : Caravela

GEO TAG DOWNLOAD PDF

ESPRESSO RECIPE +

ESPRESSO MACHINE
This is just a starting place.
