The producers behind this microlot are a group of small holders in the Chelchele village nestled away in the heart of the Yirgacheffe region. The cup is reminiscent of a summer dusk, with overwhelming notes of deep magenta fruits, quenching touches of melon, crisp hints of lemon and the heavier juiciness of cascara and rooibos tea. There's a certain romance attached to Ethiopian coffee. Maybe it's the heirloom forest gardens, it could be the many hands that make this coffee so special, maybe it's the enticement of a bean harking from the birthplace of arabica. All that's left to finish the journey is a date between you and these beans.
DEEP DIVE +

PRODUCER : Small Lots

CROP YEAR : 2021

COUNTRY : Ethiopia

REGION : YIRGACHEFFE

ELEVATION : 1800 MASL

VARIETAL : Heirloom

PROCESSING : NATURAL

IMPORTER/PARTNER : Cafe Imports

GEO TAG DOWNLOAD PDF

ESPRESSO RECIPE +

ESPRESSO MACHINE
This is just a starting place.
